Air Cafe
Established in July 2019, the AirCafe brand was created to fill a gap in the food and beverage services at Julius Nyerere International Airport. Today, we have four fully functioning cafes that have been in operation for almost two years. The AirCafe brand is now the leading food and beverage service provider at Julius Nyerere International Airport. We help make what can be a stressful traveling experience more pleasant, relaxing, and enjoyable for passengers.
BAO Express
Bao is the latest develoment at Dough Work the second home – Grow brand within the company. Following the success of the AirCafe,the Bao business is modelled around convenience, relevance & accessibility. Our main model, Bao Express (Covenience Store ) is intended of the gap that current exists in the convenience market. This home grown brand is one of the company’s newest ventures, with a vision to build Convenience Stores around the country.
CIP LOUNGE
DWL operates the CIP Lounge, four fully functioning Air Cafes, and the VIP Lounge at Dar es Salaam International Airport spanning Terminals 2 & 3. The company now plans to expand its services to other airports around Tanzania.
KFC
KFC was launched in Tanzania in 2013. In October 2019, Dough Works acquired the KFC Brand with four restaurants. By December 2019, Dough Works built two new outlets at Julius Nyerere International Airport and Mikocheni Plaza. In less than a year, Dough Works has turned the business around, even winning a YUM! RoSSA Rising Star Award for positive growth despite the challenges brought by the pandemic. In the next year, there are plans to build four new restaurants across Tanzania, all of which will have a Drive-Thru feature.
Pizza Hut
In 2016, Tanzania became the 100th country to host the Pizza Hut franchise. In May of the same year, Pizza Hut Tanzania delivered a pizza to the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, setting a new Guinness World Record for the highest altitude pizza delivery on land! Five years later, we have 8 outlets across 2 cities in the country with plans to introduce more outlets in new cities.
